It seems that the brothers (Binkie and Bello) are more of the worry bunnies then Angel† ever was. Sure, Angel† had her problems now and then, but they were mostly with her poop then anything else. So far Bello has had a hint of fleas and an earmite and now Binkie has some kind of weird bump just below his ribs, it is actually a small mass, and you can take a hold of it between two fingers.

He doesn’t feel anything (unless you squeeze it, which I accidentally did). The skin where the bump is, is red/purple-ish, but it’s not a rash. I made an appointment with the Vet so we’ll see what he says.

Recently I’ve had to take a trip or two to the Vet’s place for my boys, Binkie and Bello, because Bello had an ear mite and was scratching up his entire ear. Bello had to get shots and both of the boys got a little drop in their necks to make sure no fleas were going to take over (Bello also had fleas). They’re both fine now, Bello only has to get some ointment on his ear to stop him from scratching and to get the ear to heal faster.

While I was walking with their carrier, I got stopped four time by people asking me what kind of animal was in the carrier; a cat, a small dog etc. I told there were two rabbits in it, I had to endure five minutes of ‘oh how cute, how old are they, what breed are they’ and even more of the ‘oh how cute’ lines.

Some even asked me if they could pet them. The answer to that was, of course, no. It would mean opening the carrier, and escape possibilities come forth. Not to mention all the strange hands that would touch them. They’re only now getting used to me touching them. So no, I am not going to let you touch them.

Well that didn’t take me long! I have the family addition already! Two cute little bunnies. Male and female, brother and sister. (which means the male needs to be fixed).
