Sooo yeah I upgraded to the new version of WordPress. Everything was going fine and then Jenn alerted us to the scheduled post failure. I tested it out and yup, #fail with me too.
Let’s hope there’s a fix for this because I use scheduled posts.

So. The weirdest thing has been happening lately. Every now and then, when I am surfing on the internet and just minding my own business, I hear Germans talking.
I kid you not.
And what is even weirder, when it happens, I don not even have the sound turned up. Even when I do, like when I am listening to songs on iTunes, I still get them damn Germans.
For the life of me I can not figure out which program it is coming from. I’ve even gone to the point of closing every program I have open and still, there are the Germans. Is the computer acting as a radio and picking up radio waves or something? Or heck, am I the one that’s picking them up when I am at the computer.
Oh, and did I mention it is the SAME DAMN THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN? No? well it is THE SAME DAMN THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Today was the day, I could finally upgrade to the stable release of WordPress 2.8. I went to my admin and clicked the button to automatically upgrade, and whoosh there it went.
And then it stopped.
I got nothing but blank pages, the so called white screen of death (similar to the blue screen of death as in NOTHING WORKS!). The site worked, but that was about it.
Then I went searching online for possible solutions and with a simple click I found one of them. Disabling all your plugins and then enabling them one by one to see who the culprit was.
Did that. and now everything seems to be in working order.
For the past two days Firefox had been crashing on me everytime I tried to add an image or other for of media via the upload/instert option at Firefox. I could not figure out what the heck it was causing the problems, I did the whole disabling of plugins and all, reinstalled firefox, but nothing seemed to work….
Then I disabled Google Gears. ANd presto! it worked again. so Bu Bye Google Gears!
