Mum & Dad; that is the name of a new UK horror flick. The trailer is the creepiest thing and the subject is the epitome of what bad parenting is about.

I have decided to do something about my weight. I have obesitas and I have been feeling very very low about it. I never really had a problem with it, in the sense that I knew I was overweight, just couldn’t be bothered to do something about it. And a little sentence on which I kept myself going ‘At least I am not as overweight as some people‘.
I am currently looking at several companies and almost decided on one; Medifit Physiotherapy. I’ve inquired about their options and prizes and someone is going to call me back tomorrow after 1pm. One of the reasons I might go with Medifit Physiotherapy is because they have a special program for obesitas, and I do not feel comfortable in a ‘regular’ place at the moment. Next to that, I’ll be also doing extra exercises at home on my gazelle. I’ll create a schedule so I know when to do and what to do. Same goes for eating.
I will also write about my experience on my blog, a diary that will keep me inspired on why I do it and perhaps inspire some other people as well. I would also like to have your input, specially when it comes to your stories about weight loss and how you did it and what kept you going.
I ran into my old crush today. I went grocery shopping and just as I walked out she was walking in. We said hi to each other and each went our merry way. When she was still living two doors down and she used to work at said grocery store, I had the biggest crush on her. And she’s still every bit of gorgeous that I remember, save for the guy that was with her (her boyfriend).
Makes me kinda jealous of people that have a special friend. I don’t get that often, but sometimes I want that company as well. I want to be in love, or at least get a friggin’ valentines card.
I could listen to these singers forever:
1. Kelly Clarkson – That voice, the cuteness and the fact that she is one of the real people
2. Christina Aguilera – Have you heard her live? Amazing
3. Justin Timberlake – That man is sex on a stick and if I weren’t a lesbian I’d fantasize about him
4. Pink – Another amazing live singer
5. Rihanna – Love the voice, love the hair, loose the outfits, dress up a little more.

I have been trying to get myself to post a new blog entry at least every other day, and so far I am failing miserably. Not letting this blog go to waste, I have looked up several ways to get myself to post more. One of those things is internet memes. Yes, it has come to this.
Let’s start with the first one: Saturday Six from Blazing Mind
1. Do you use a Digital or Film camera?
I use a Digital Camera. Canon PowerShot A430.
2. Do you print the photos yourself or get them printed for you?
I get them printed out, I do not have the right equipment.
3. Do you upload your photos to sites such as fickr or photobucket?
Absolutely. It is one of several ways of having copies of my photos.
4. Do you photo anything and everything or does your camera only come out on special occasions such as birthdays etc.?
I photograph pretty much anything and everything.
5. When was the last time you upgraded to a new camera?
A year ago, which was when I got the one I have now.
6. If you could have any camera on the market which one would you choose and why?
I’m not picky. I’ll take anything digital with at least 8 mega pixels.
When I’m not in therapy, or doing the household chores, I spend my time on the internet catching up on several blogs. I am one of those people that does not have an active life and thus have to live my life through others. I spend my life fantasizing about what it would be like having so much to say.
There are 4 blogs I follow vigorously and my day is not complete without a visit, whether they updated or not. It’s sad, I know.
- Dooce.com – Stay at home mother of 2 (yes at the time of writing she still had one bun in the oven), wife of Jon, and owner of 2 dogs, Heather from Dooce.com became quite famous (or infamous) for her blog when she talked about her work on her blog and subsequently got fired for it. These days she spends her days blogging (working) from home, traveling to promote her books and being hilariously funny while doing so.
- Jemjabella.co.uk – The NoNonsense “geek/php ninja extraordinaire ‘Jem’” and truly ultimately better then us (at least as far as the coding goes, but I hear she’s great as a person too), and yes, she is a girl, which makes it even better.
- Final Girl – She’s funny, she’s entertaining and she can slice a movie to bits with good reasons no matter what anyone else says. Stacie Ponder loves horror flicks and I in turn love her for that.
- Girl’s Gone Child – I don’t know what it is, but I can’t get enough of these ‘mom’ blogs. Rebecca Woolf entertains us with her stories about raising her children and every day life.
