My poor Mariah Carey fan heart
It is no secret that I used to be a huge Mariah Carey fan (yes, used to be, now I just like her, but that’s an entirely different story) and I am still in love with her earlier work.
One of my favorite songs is Without You (which topped the Dutch charts in 1994 and stayed on the #1 spot for five weeks) and every now and then I still play the song.
Now that Idols is over in the Netherlands (and delivered the best winner yet) I went on YouTube to see what other countries are up to (or have been up to) and found Valentina Hasan, a Bulgarian contestant, who, understandably, did not make it through to the next round.
She sang Without You, or as she said Ken Lee… o_0
And here I was laughing my ass of when last year a contestant sang; ‘Oh Jesse, you always do this, every time I get back on my fiets’ ( Jesse - Joshua Kadison )
But this is seriously unbelievable! And then we complain that some of our contestants ( Neil ) had a really bad English pronunciation.
