Callerd ID: Unknown
Your cellphone rings. You take it in your hands and look at the screen. Your Caller ID flashes a big ‘unknown caller’ at you.
What do you do? Do you pick it up or just let it ring?
I choose not to pick up.
The problem with unknown callers is that their number is withheld. You can’t call them back. And in my case; they never leave a voice mail message.
Do you want me to pick up? Don’t withhold your number. Do you want me to call back? Leave a goddamn message with your number.
Sure if it is important they will call you back; but the screen flashes ‘unknown caller’ yet again.
*grumble*

My friend has an unlisted number, so usually when someone’s calling from “unknown,” it’s her.
Although last night I got a weird phone call - my caller id said it was from a friend of mine, and when I answered the phone, I said hello several times, and I could hear him eating something into the phone, but he never said hello back. So I hung up, and tried calling HIM, and I got his answering machine.
Oddest thing ever.
lmao, yeah I’ve had that happen to me several times, they had the safety of their keys OFF and because my name begins with a C… I’m usually first up if they accidentally calls!
Haha same here, which sometimes gives you some crazy calls like a friend of mine, who was in the car driving and singing to the music really loudly. Apparently she had been trying to get something from her bag and hit the dial button. I was laughing my ass off!

Well in my case I usually pick up the phone even if it is unknown, because of job interviews, living arrangements and of course the insurance for my car since I had that fender bender. I never know when they might call or with which number. But I hate to pick up my phone if they do not leave a caller ID.
