Weird baby names. Parents don’t want to give their children normal names anymore (like James, Jaden, Chloe, Amanda etc). No, they want to name there children after a brand product they like (Jell-O, Orange), their favorite TV-Network (Espn), colors (Blue, Fuschia, Cerulean), and even typography (@).
It’s just not cool. People seem to forget that we live in a harsh and cruel world. Children get teased about the littlest things like having too much freckles or having a big nose. Do you really want to add to that stress by giving your child a weird name?
Sure; it’s unique, you might think it’s cool, you might think it’s funny. But did you ever thought about the fact that the children have to live with the name for the rest of their life? Therapists and Psychiatrists should have a field day when the children have grown up.
Celebrities have a knack of coming up with weird names as well. Anything from fabric (Denim) to things related to sound (Audio Science). I’m still trying to figure out why the normal people call their children the weirdest things.
