Human beings are amazing creatures. The way they respond to certain things. Their ability to make the same mistake twice, three times, and sometimes even more. It amazes me that people can be so stupid as to think that they will never get caught, or that they can get away with things just because they were high on something.

note 1: The fact that these two people are from France is a coincidence. It did not register with me until after I had posted this.

note 2: I have absolutely nothing against the French; they’re quite nice (not to mention some of the women are gorgeous)

French Prisoner escapes via helicopter… again
source: nu.nl (dutch)

A french criminal escaped via Helicopter from prison in Grasse, South France. Four masked man had hijacked a helicopter on Airport Cannes-Mandelieu and forced the pilot to fly to the Prison. In 2001, the prisoner escaped from a prison in Luynes the same exact way. He was arrested two years later for organizing another Helicopter escape for three of his companions from that same Prison.

I think the French need to toughen up their prisons. This sounds like something from a movie. Not to mention he did it twice and tried to organize a helicopter escape as well.

Really, you’d think that the French would have learned from the first escape.

Frenchman slaughters dog during magic mushrooms trip
source: nu.nl (dutch)

A 28-year old Frenchman slaughtered his own dog while under the influence of Mushrooms and Weed. The man told police that in order for the dog’s spirit to be released, he had to cut him up with a knife and scissors.

What is it with the people and their mushrooms? How many people have to jump off a roof, out of hotel windows, trash their hotel rooms or slaughter a dog before they realize these things are dangerous? We all see the horror stories of what can happen when you take drugs, and yet, people seem to simply not care.

Why is it necessary for people to take drugs in order to loosen up? I mean really. If anyone has the answer to that, please let me know. It would not change my mind about it, but at least I might understand it.

OK, these stories are so weird! I thought you were doing then “french” stories in honor of Bastille Day, only one day later!
And about the mushrooms, people hallucinate and they think is the best thing to do… A guy that went to the university with me, got high and jumped out of a window on the 14th floor in his building. He said he wanted to fly. The worst part? People that were with him at that moment, thought he was joking.
Thanks for the link! I’m linking you too!

    Chantal:
Haha, I did not even know it was Bastille Day. I’m not much into the whole holiday thing unless I get a day off from work here in the Netherlands. Then it’s absolutely cemented in my brain.

Yeah I don’t know what it is, but when people hallucinate they always want to fly for some reason.
