the one with the ‘adult’ sites

When you are browsing through the Internet on a computer that is used by family members (or on any public computer really), specifically your father’s work laptop, you make sure that you are able to erase or at least cover, your tracks on it. Why? Because if you actually need to erase/cover your tracks, you know you can. Especially when you’ve been watching Adult Entertainment on said laptop/computer.

I know someone (who shall remain nameless) who didn’t. I know you’re all probably thinking “Yeah, but you can erase the history of visits in more ways then one.” Well yes, you can. But not if said buttons are not clickable. Not even with a re-install. You can go in your Windows Explorer and erase the Temporary Internet Files and all that. But apparently you can not delete the browse history if the buttons are disabled. Unless he was doing it the wrong way (which would not surprise me, as smart as he is, he can be really dense when it comes to small things like this, and I do mean this in a good way).

Wonder how *that* conversation will go once the parents find out what he’s been up to on Dad’s laptop.

six weird things you should never know about me

Got distracted Deliberately moved away from the pain (for me) that is unsorted lists (Work Damn it, Work) and found myself stopping at Becky’s site and her recent post about weird things and that you should never know them about someone. Since I will drive myself insane if I keep working on this unordered list thing I decided to steal borrow the idea from her.

The weird

  1. Spiders and Insects, and every other creepy crawler things are the death of me. I hate them with a passion. So does my stomach; I have to keep myself from throwing up when I see one.
  2. I am insanely weird about my pillows. I have five pillows; Three small ones that are easily manipulated to fit my head and neck; Two larger ones that came with the bed. One of those is always against my back, and the other I hold. I have issues
  3. If ever there was a guy I could give my heart to it would be David Boreanaz.
  4. No matter how stupid the movie may be, with emotional scenes I’m a goner. I cry at the drop of a hat. Again, I have issues.
  5. I have to watch Lesbian Themed movies by myself. I can not watch them with anyone else. It is my own little world.
  6. I adore my own mouth/lips.  I think it’s perfect. (and I don’t say that about anything else.. well except my nose and eyes)

Things you should never know

  1. I witnessed my sister and boyfriend having sex… (they thought I was asleep)
  2. I watch porn: Lesbian porn, straight porn and gay porn *wink* (And it’s fun, turn the sound down and make up your own lines just like Paramount Comedy’s ‘Badly Dubbed Porn‘)
  3. My childhood best friend and I used to (age 13/14) call sex lines, a lot. So much in fact that we were grounded for two months and had our phone privileges revoked for six months.
  4. When I was young (and blissfully unaware that I was gay), I stole my best friend’s boyfriend. (I was 10 years old)
  5. I enjoy (some) pain more then I should.
  6. People think I am unaware of certain things. I know… Oh the stories I could tell.

Somewhat of a weird post. Please don’t hold that against me. I’m super nice, really and not at all as weird as this posts seems to be. Trust me. Oh and these were the best I could come up with fast. If I’d really think about it I could come up with better.

Oh and Mark, Angelique… TAG! You’re it!

And you thought Alcohol was bad

Apparently Alcohol is not that bad at all. Especially when they let a ten-year-old buy it. I went to the store a little while ago, and I was nearly done with packing up my groceries when I noticed that same ten your old girl whom I mentioned in an earlier post. And again she was buying a can of beverage; except this time it was with a higher concentration of alcohol then the one she wanted to buy the last time. So naturally you would expect that the cashier would tell the kid she couldn’t buy it.

She didn’t. She knew the child.

The child made a big “Whoo, I can actually buy it this time” statement. (Yes she actually said that, except you know in Dutch). The cashier did absolutely nothing. And all I could think was what just happened here? and I wanted to say something so fucking bad, but was just to dumbfounded to do so. By the time I had my thoughts collected the child and the cashier were gone (change of shift).

When I got home I started thinking about the previous time that this happened with girl and them remembered the cashier. The Cashier in the previous occurrence was a young woman (and young man who told the Cashier that the kid couldn’t buy the beverage), and probably no older then 25.

The cashier this time was well over 45 and should have known better. Even if she knew the child; the Cashier should have known better. Not to mention the policy of the store that prohibits them from selling any kind of alcoholic beverage no matter how low the percentage to anyone under 18 (or 16, not sure if that is changed yet). And this girl was well under that age.

I hate it when people get stupid like that.

OMG, Did anyone frickin’ see the video for the Reba/Kelly version of ‘Because Of You’? That video killed me. Here it is.

Your True Self Revealed

You know. I absolutely love these online Personality Tests. I do at least one every month. Mostly to see if there is anything changed. If I did really change my p.o.v on something or if I am still my boring old self.

I came across PersonalDNA via a web search for Personality Tests (yes. I search for these tests). I find it quite interesting and I am going to post the results right here, and, if needed, post my thoughts on them.

  • italics = absolutely (though, most of them are true indeed, some of these are an undeniable statement of who I am)

My personalDNA Report

You are a Visionary

Your imagination, self-assuredness, and knowledge of the world combine to make you a VISIONARY.

  • You have clear notions of how things could be, and the confidence to try to make them that way.
  • You enjoy having a routine, and prefer comfort and familiarity to risk and adventure.
  • Not needing others’ approval to forge ahead, you are confident in your designs for the future.
  • Your imagination allows you to envision the world as a better place.
  • You’re better at thinking of the big picture than you are with details, and you can see wonder in abstract things.
  • Style and appearances are important to you, and you have a good eye for beauty. (that is what I like to think anyway)
  • You are somewhat rigid in your beliefs, which comes from both confidence and an aversion to change.
  • You are good at creating works of art in forms with which you’re familiar.
  • You’re not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you’re generally considerate of others’ feelings as well.
  • You much prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute. Your decisions are well thought out, and you’re not the least bit impulsive. (this is absolutely true)

If you want to be different:
Appreciate the earthly, functional elements of things.

Your clarity of vision sometimes prevents you from being open to new ideas. Try expanding your horizon of experiences, and experimenting with novel ways of doing things. (Hey, I resent that. I am very open to new ideas!)

You are Faithful

  • Your trust in others, respect for tradition, and caring nature make you FAITHFUL.
  • Maintaining a few intimate relationships is more important to you than knowing a lot of people, and you share a lot with your close friends. (I’d rather have a few close friends then a ton of ‘casual’ friends, though, nothing is wrong with that either)
  • Those who have managed to get close to you value your camaraderie, and they know that they can trust you with anything; you’re a good listener.
  • While you can usually see several sides of an argument, you often have a strong opinion as to which side is correct—the order of things is usually clear to you. (And I get myself in trouble for that often)
  • Your perspective on the world is based on careful observation, and you know a lot about how people feel in—and react to—many situations. (I’d like to think so yes. But this is mostly to friends related)
  • Your exploration of others’ feelings has led you to believe that although people generally act appropriately, having clear social rules is very important to a functional society.
  • Time alone for reflection is important to you—you are introspective and aware of your own feelings.
  • Faithful is as faithful does—you expect those with whom you are close to be loyal to you, and you take betrayal of your trust very seriously.

If you want to be different:
Some of the alternate perspectives that you understand may have more value than you give them credit for—keep in mind that right and wrong aren’t always so clear-cut.

While you are able to reap the benefits of your time alone, and may see interacting with a lot of people as more tiring than exciting, remember that there is a lot to be learned from experiencing things and not just reflecting on them.

So… for the people that know me: Am I really all that? Or do I just like to think I am?

Spencer/Ashley Manipulation

No, this is not actually a manipulation but more of a notice kind of deal… I was completely minding my own little thing of getting some website work done when all of a sudden a friend of mine pops up giving me a YouTube link and saying “Have you seen the manip?”. Of course I hadn’t seen it and I clicked on the link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzvIu4L6kII

and surprise, surprise, what does my eye catch?

Someone drew a picture of a manipulation I created and had it auctioned off for charity. Apparently this image has been floating around the web for quite some time now and shows up in a ton of images and other pieces of fan art.

I have yet to find anything, I just hope everything is properly credited… to me. I actually still have the original Photoshop PSD file.

Thought it was pretty neat that a piece of art that was created by me was actually seen by the actresses themselves. Though they may never know who made the original, makes me feel pretty damn proud.

Save The Last Dance For Me

Oooh Big Love is back! It’s brilliant! Just fabulous. Sarah, Sarah, Sarah… very nice Group ya had there. I’d be embarrassed too if I were you. I missed Heather (Tina Majorino) and now that VM will be no more. I have to be able to see her in something. Perhaps she’ll be there in one of the upcoming episodes.

Which reminds me. I so need to catch up on my television shows. I think I have about five shows and for all of them I have to watch at least three to four episodes.

Don’t forget who’s taking you home, and in who’s arms you’re gonna be. so Darling, save the last dance for me

Fell in love with this song when I first heard it on Queer as Folk (s1e22 – Season Finale) during the Justin/Brian Prom Dance Scene. (HOT!)

That was just a random thing. On to some other stuff like Grocery Stores. A day or two ago I was in my local store and there was this kid (a girl, not older then 10) behind me, who wanted to buy a can of beverage and according to one of the employees at the store, it had an alcohol percentage of 1,3. So the employee told the girl she couldn’t buy it. And I swear, if looks could kill, the store would have had to search for a new employee. After that, the girl paid for her other stuff and just walked away, of course not before giving one last look of death towards the cashier. Is it me or are kids getting alcohol young and younger these days? Even if it’s ‘just’ 1,3%.

I think it is just ridiculous that even the kids themselves think they can just walk in a store and grab a can and nearly demand that they sell it to them, even if the kids themselves know there is an age limit.

I am totally addicted to the Billiards game on Gamezer.com . I find it highly addictive indeed. I play at least an hour a day. Not that I win all that much, I think I won about 16 games of the 60 or something that I’ve played against people (yes, it’s people against people, but you can also play against the computer), when you play against the computer, there is, for me anyway, a slightly higher chance that you’ll win. I usually play straight pool or 8-Ball.

About 74 days left until Mark and I go to America. Money saving is going okay, in a way. I need to save up for rent for the next couple of months and when that is done then I think I’ll have some money left for the trip.

Oh and there’s been tattoo talk again. Told a chat room full of people that I, quite possibly, would get one while I was there. So who knows. I might go home inked.

I think I know more of my best friend then I ever thought I would. Which is a good thing really. I mean if ya can’t talk about everything then what’s a best friend for?

Heh, I’m gonna play some more pool and do a little website work.

lmao… too damn funny

Oh. I <3 Kelly Clarkson. She has to be the most adorable thing out there. Her goofiness is just so cute. You wanna just hug her. Some people pointed me to some of the funny Kelly clips and I came across this little beauty.

It is Kelly’s reaction to Britney shaving her head, and it’s just the funniest thing.
